Dr. Phil, in action...
I should probably go ahead and rate this post PG-13/R, fyi.
I've probably only helped the cause by posting these few minutes of video, but...what's this guy thinking? Is it even remotely legal? Doubt it...

That was weird stuff. What kind of world do we live in?
Who the heck would buy that junk? Sick.
But, you know what? Sadly, that stuff doesn't even scratch the surface of dispicable. There's so much worse being sold every day.
I hope Dr. Phil never looks at porn or he has just made himself a huge hypocrite. He really took a high horse position by inviting that guest onto his show, playing the video, and then kicking the guy off. What you didn't see was the paycheck Dr. Phil gave the man to be there. I'm sure he paid him something to come on.
A little tense. It was starting to look like a Jerry Springer episode for a second.
Yeah, I'm not sure if I even want to know what really happened.
Unless, he really did just want to publicly humiliate the guy after all. I'm still not sure if that's good or bad.
I would have to vote "bad"... all Phil did was give press to this idiot..for what? We already know there are sickos out there that exploit the less fortunate..and believe it or not some viewers got a thrill out of that footage and old doc knew they would..so what was the point in airing it? Think about it! Thumbs down to Phil...his attempt to make himself look so "moral" failed miserably..he only succeeded in exploiting an exploiter!
I think that's a fair vote. Those who, by themselves, are great people and don’t point fingers to boost their own egos higher into the clouds [insert deep breath here]...are only good examples as long as we perceive them that way. But when they try too hard to attract a certain response, that’s when they fail. I think that’s why we once, possibly, actually liked Dr. Phil. But now...
But then again, isn’t that we do every day, in areas other than famous people? In any worldview (how a certain group of people see a thing), there’s always going to be groups of people thinking the opposite of another group. That’s what makes them/us different.
I wonder if it was a big enough issue, affecting enough people, that he felt a right to do that.
I wonder...that’s what I do.
I don't condone the content of the Bumfights videos, however, the guy had a point. Dr. Phil exploits people in the same way. He brings people with deep emotional problems onto his show then tells them to set goals and get over it and sends them on their way. Give me a break. It's exploitation of the financially well, but emotionally bankrupt.
Then, he brings the guy on knowing full well what the video is going to show and then kicks him off? Moral problem, what? His son's wife is a Playmate!
I think that's what's most ironic...the idea that it's merely a picture of what he does.
Only echoing what's being said.
(Playmate, huh? Hmm...)
